Here is the promised baby Ethan post!  Isn’t he beautiful?  As I was getting these ready for this post, my heart just swelled up and melted into a puddle.  Those squishy baby lips and yawns SO make me want to do it all over again. I miss those days when they are so fresh <3  Ethan joins 2 big brothers and some of my absolute fav’s out of this session are of all three boys together.  Mama Nicole is for sure the princess of the house!

Your session: We will have approximately 20 minutes together as I photograph your child or family.

What to wear: To give us the full 20 minutes to spend with your family, please plan on one outfit for your photos. Dress your child in something that reflects you and your child’s style. They can wear something dressy, holiday inspired or casual, whichever suits your taste!

Miss Amelia came allll the way from Boston to see me!  Yep that’s right…JUST me.  Well okay, maybe she had a LOT of family that was waiting to see her too, but I feel so honored to be a part of this families lives.  I LOVE this family!    Anyway…Baby Amelia was over 2 weeks old when I first met her, and boy oh boy, she was WIDE AWAKE.  Nope, she wasn’t going to sleep for anything!  We did what we could but then her mama brought her back to me when she was 4 weeks old (I know, right?!?!) and she was sooooo good, she slept most of the time!  Yippee!!  I can’t wait to see her again. <3  You might remember the Mama…she is the super hot mom holding the little boy with the balloons….remember?  That’s her.  Doesn’t she look awesome?  She does, believe me.  Ladies and Gentlemen….meet Amelia Piper.

I absolutely LOVE fall!  L-O-V-E it.  <3  It was an odd first day of fall though, right?  HOT!  I sent Ava to school in a sweater dress, tights, and a wool beret for school pictures (every mom has gotta have the traditional school head shots for the album…at least this mom does ) and felt like the worst mom as I was sweating my face off standing with her waiting for the bus.  Hey, she looked cute.

Ohhh…are you in for a treat!  I have known Nicole for a couple of years now, one of my first sessions was of her little girl Lily, who was not quite a year old at the time.  Now Nicole and her hubby Marty have expanded their family by one itty bitty little girl and OMG is she the sweetest thing!  I was so excited to be doing Grace’s pictures because, as you all know, I absolutely ADORE photographing newborns!  I was SOOO bummed though when I learned that Nicole went in to be induced…the very same day that I went away on vacation.  So instead of getting to see Grace in all her 4 or 5 day old sweetness, I had to postpone it until she was 11 days old. Oh boy, it didn’t make a bit of difference, she was as pretty as can be!  And such a DREAM to work with!!!

Isn’t she gorgeous?  That pretty olive PERFECT skin, pink lips…and that hair!  Ohhhh!!!

I even caught one or two of these pretty smiles…I knew she was saving them just for me.

She slept almost the entire time.  Well, she slept when she wasn’t nursing.

I love this shot…every single time I take it.  I love how it always gets across just how perfectly tiny and round a newborn’s head is. <3

I don’t see these girls as much as I wish I did….these three are my cousins that live up north, and we FINALLY got together to do a sister’s session as a surprise for their mom for her birthday.  We drove back behind our grandparent’s house by the river and did the pictures there and I LOVE how they turned out, the lighting was just gorgeous, and so were my subjects.  

C is going back to college this fall, H is starting college this fall and I can’t believe how big E is, she has grown up so much in the past year!  As I was going through these photos I couldn’t believe how much H and E (the blondies) look like their mama!!!  C looks just like her daddy!

I recently had a session with Miss Lauren, who toted along her mom and dad along for some family pictures.  Meeting Lauren was SUCH a delight, she is one of THE most mature and precocious little 3 year olds I have ever met, she is just PRECIOUS!!!!  I loved every minute of being with her!!!  Mom and Dad were pretty awesome too  Miss L told me when she met me exactly how she was going to smile, she had me cracking up the whole session.

Thanks for being patient with me guys!

**I have been on vacation for 10 days, so it is taking me a day or two to get my bearings back, LOL!  We had a great time, we celebrated Britton’s 2nd birthday and my grandpa’s 80th birthday…all in the same week!  I took a lot of pictures and will be back this week to share!  It is so great to go and spend so much time with my family, but I did miss my hubby and am glad to be back in my own bed.
