Gibson’s mama contacted me many months ago asking me to take photos of her baby boy that would be coming in May.  I was so excited and humbled to hear they would be traveling from Royal Oak, Michigan and was tickled to hear of how she found me—through the Matilda Jane website!  www.matildajaneclothing.com  I am listed as a photographer on the website and so excited that it has helped an awesome new client find their way to me.

Baby Gibson was an angel, and sister Avery is just perfection.  This is a huge photo overload, but I just had so many favorites, I had a hard time narrowing it down.  Enjoy!

I was just giddy with excitement over this session!  Little Graysen was SOOO good to me, he slept when he needed to, curled up when he needed to and posed like a champ.  He is just precious and I really do want to keep him.  Jen and Brian…thank you so much.  I am in love with your little bird and will take him off your hands any time at all

Just a quickie.  Mommy and Daddy drove all the way from Royal Oak to see me last week and I just read on facebook that the daddy of these beautiful children is celebrating his birthday today so I thought I would post just two of my favorites.  :)  A full post will be coming up shortly, stay tuned.

The Expo was a HUGE success and I am so very pleased with how it all came together.  We got a fantastic response from booth visitors and fellow vendors, yay!

So I know I promised more blog posts but I promise you, I have been so busy….but it’s all good things.  Here is another blog post that I owe you, and it makes me so happy to share these images with you.  This beautiful, petite little mama is Jen.  Jen and I have known each other for a few years now, so I was elated when she contacted me to do her maternity and newborn photos.  She said she hadn’t had any photos taken at all while she’d been pregnant and I didn’t understand why….isn’t she just beautiful?  She looks AMAZING pregnant and these photos show off that sweet belly so well.  I get to meet her baby boy on SATURDAY already, since he was born just a couple of days ago…I am so excited.

We had a couple snow days this past week, and it sounds like most of the country has had the same!  YAY for snow!!!  Snow is GORGEOUS for outdoor pictures, so if you would like a snow session, please email me before it all melts.

Right now I am starting a Fresh Faces campaign for NEWBORNS!  I need some new newborn faces to update my portfolio so if you are expecting or have JUST had a baby, please contact me asap!

A post isn’t a post without a picture….so here are a few that I haven’t blogged yet of a sweet little newborn baby boy.

I recently had the absolutely awesome PLEASURE of meeting up with Nikki and her two girly girls.  She had them dressed so stinkin cute, and we ran around the orchard stomping on rotten apples, slipping and sliding, and taking a moment or two here or there to snap a photo.  By the time we were done, those girls smelled very strongly of fermented apples, LOL!  I think they had a lot of fun though.  Not sure if Mom was worried that we got any good ones…but I think we got our share

Nikki, thank you SO much for bringing your incredibly sweet and beautiful girls to me.  I seriously had SUCH a hard time narrowing them all down…I hope you love them as much as I do.  <3
