I recently had the privaledge of going to the “D” family home to do photos of G & M.  Such a fun session!  The kids did SO good, and Mr. D even introduced me to an awesome new phot spot   I am just thrilled with the way this session turned out…way too many favorites to choose from, so this is a nice big share!

Just a quick note:  October is almost completely booked up.  If you would like photos done for holidays, I do reccomend scheduling quickly.  I will not be booking sessions between December 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011 except for maternity and newborns/baby planners due to the holidays.  If you have won or purchased a session this year, you have until November 30 to complete the session.  Sessions won/purchased of this year will not be honored after the new year. Thank you for your understanding!

Saturday I went to the home of this brand new baby boy and spent some time with him and his lovely family. Baby E is all boy and is just as handsome as his two older brothers.  I will be posting more soon.  Nicole…enjoy your preview of your beautiful boy!

In preparation for the busy holiday season, Chixie and Honey is opening up the calendar for Holiday Mini Sessions…perfect for holiday cards and gifts for your loved ones. We only take a limited number so please book early as they do go fast!

Your session: We will have approximately 20 minutes together as I photograph your child or family.

Dates:

Previews: A sneak peek of your session will be posted on our blog within 7 days days after our session. Your online proof gallery with 10-20 images will be available to view within 14 days after our session.

What to wear: To give us the full 20 minutes to spend with your family, please plan on one outfit for your photos. Dress your child in something that reflects you and your child’s style. They can wear something dressy, holiday inspired or casual, whichever suits your taste!

We had a couple snow days this past week, and it sounds like most of the country has had the same!  YAY for snow!!!  Snow is GORGEOUS for outdoor pictures, so if you would like a snow session, please email me before it all melts.

Right now I am starting a Fresh Faces campaign for NEWBORNS!  I need some new newborn faces to update my portfolio so if you are expecting or have JUST had a baby, please contact me asap!    

What do you get?

A free newborn session and 8×10–a $140 value.  Baby must be 10 days old or younger and you must be willing to sign a model release.

I am also looking for twin newborns as well!

A post isn’t a post without a picture….so here are a few that I haven’t blogged yet of a sweet little newborn baby boy.

I still have a ton of sessions to blog from 2009 so I thought I’d take one off the list.  Life is crazy, as usual, especially when you have two small kids.  We have been battling the sickies and then pink eye, yuck!  I have never had pink eye…that is until last week.  It is the WORST!  No contacts for a week for me!  I’m completely blind and my best friend jokes that we could go and burn ants with my glasses with the sun.  Except I don’t think she’s joking.  

Anyway, we are all healthy now, so I think we’ll hole up  here in the house until the weather warms up.  

I have so much to share, including some new designs that my kiddos have modeled for a great clothing company, so stay tuned!

Until then…..meet the D family.  You might recognize these pretty kids from an urban session we did last year.

Grandma and Grandpa wanted some family photos….and I love how they turned out. (Even if middle “N” was D-O-N-E at this point, LOL!)

These are some of my favorite people in the world.  Derrick is my cousin and is 2 years older than me.  We were pretty inseparable while growing up and we are still pretty close.  Our families of 4 spend a LOT of time together when we are back “home”.  He and his wife Cari are some of our very closest friends and I love them. <3 <3

This is Tyler…he is very sweet and I swear has almost no teeth left in his head right now, I am truly amazed at how he even eats, LOL!  The tooth fairy has been super busy lately, LOL!

Cari is so beautiful <3 <3  (and Derrick isn’t too bad either but that’s weird since he’s my cousin)

The boys were some of my easiest subjects, they did whatever I asked and even posed themselves at times.

We don’t see them nearly enough but I’m very excited because we’re headed north in two more days, and I’m hoping we can make time to spend with them!!!  Love you guys so much!
