Are you a fan? | Toledo Children’s Photographer

Hello my lovies!  Spring has sprung and I think it adds a little extra skip in everyone’s step…don’t you think?  Although, I must say, Michigan never disappoints with it’s unpredictability. ;)  Last weekend we went up north…when we left our house it was 60 degrees.  When we woke up the next morning at our cottage, there was snow on the ground and it was coming down hard!  Talk about a letdown, LOL!  Now I’m hoping the snow is gone for good. :)

Ever heard of p90x?  It’s a psycho 90 day workout program.  Husband and I started doing it last week.  I don’t mind the workouts, not really.  It’s the diet!!!  I completely suck at dieting.  I get mad because I “can’t” have something.  Then it makes me want to eat it even more, LOL!  Justin has already lost 5 pounds….seriously, how does that happen?  He eats his 6 whole chickens (not really but seriously….you get a LOT of protein on this diet) and just drops the weight.  NOT FAIR. ;)

So, that is what our life is looking like now.  Eating constantly and working out like a crazy person.  It does make it easier though when you have a partner, and I must say, it has been so great for the husband and I to do it together.

A little announcement:  We have a baby planner package now!  If you are having a baby, please email me for pricing!

And….are you a fan on facebook?  No?  You should be!  Help us get to 500 fans, and when we hit 500, we’ll do a CONTEST!  Already a fan?  Spread the word! :)

{winter blues…}

I used to hate the changing seasons, I always wanted the current season (only summer or winter!) to stay the way it was forever.  I hated spring because it wasn’t quite yet summer, and everything was muddy and wet.  Fall was despised almost just as much, everything looked dark and dead to me and the warm days of summer was beginning to be just a distant memory.  Summer days meant lots of swimming and boating in the lake….days filled with friends coming over to play and staying up late into the night whispering and giggling about whatever little girls find silly and funny.  Winter meant sledding, hot chocolate, snow angels and warm fires.  And best of all….Christmas!   My birthday is also in December, so that month has always held a bit of excitement and anticipation for me.

Since I have gotten older I have come to appreciate the change of seasons.  It is a reminder to me at how fast time is passing us by, holidays and birthdays just whirring past me on fast forward.  This winter though….has seemed to DRAG by!  I am tired of the cold, and so ready for spring.  Spring awakens everyone and it always makes me giggle to see us northerners walking around in shorts and flip flops when it’s 50 degrees out.  *giggle*  I am waiting [im]patiently for spring to arrive, so that I can walk outside again without freezing the tip of my nose right off, so I can take my kids outside and let them run like wild dogs.  Summers are still spent swimming in the lake as much as possible at home, and this summer I hope to get to our cottage up north much more often!  We have so much work to do on it, and I am excited at the prospect of it looking like a cottage instead of an abandoned trashbin. :D

Even though I am ready for spring and summer, I have always loved the snow.  If it’s going to be cold, let there be snow!!

{keepin ‘em comin’….}

I promised I would blog everyday, and I’m not about to break that promise! No eye candy tonight though, I must admit that I have not edited much today, it was a busy day today with appointments and errands and yes….more pictures! I am also preparing for a portrait party being held on Saturday, but I do hope to post some pretty pictures for you tomorrow. :) I have more of baby Ashton, 10 month old Lily and more of Ava. I also need to post birthday pictures…my little girl turned FOUR last week and we had an awesome birthday party for her, so I need to get busy posting those too. Not enough hours in the day!

Tomorrow Justin has the day off and he is looking forward to taking Ava to school. She is a little daddy’s girl. I also have a lunch date with Alicia and Emily to celebrate Alicia’s birthday, who shares hers with Ava.

More to come tomorrow!

OH! Did you see Grey’s?????????? Talk about an emotional roller coaster!
