This past July I traveled to my home town and did two different nights of mini sessions. It was SO much fun! I saw old high school friends and met their beautiful children and also met some new people as well. It was hot hot hot…but so worth it. The kids were all so sweet and well behaved….and just….well….beautiful. Take a look for yourself.

Hi there.  *shyly ducking my head*  Remember me?  I’m an old friend.  We used to talk, share, hang out….all that.  I’ve been a terrible friend…and I am so very sorry.  *shrugs*  You see, the past few months have been insane for me and  I wasn’t prepared.    Things have settled down now a little and I’ve had the chance to take a step back, take a (very) deep breath and just take a look around.  I’ve noticed some things that were missing, and it has been all my fault.  You were one of the things I’ve missed and I promise, I’m going to try and make it up to you.  Can we be friends again, please?  *pleading look in eyes*

We can?  *big smile*  Thank you, you’re awesome!

I’m back.   Business was BOOMING this past fall and I am so incredibly thankful.  I truly am thankful for each and every one of my clients…past, present and future.  They have been so instrumental in helping me grow and their support is priceless.  To all of you…thank you so much for making 2010 a fantastic year!  This year will be a bit more structured, and I will be scheduling much sooner to ease the stress and rush of last minute sessions and orders.  I was a complete stress ball throughout the month of December and I do not want to do *that* again  I need my sanity, hehehe

2011 is looking up to be an amazing year.  I have a lot of exciting things happening in the next couple of months in my personal and professional life and I can’t wait to share!

For now, I’m going to share a session that I did of one of my favorite families.  Love this family and the girls are so special, happy and beautiful!  I hope to get caught up soon on my blogging, I have so many sessions to share!

this week as well.  It has been busy here and for that I am so thankful.  I am thankful for each and every one of my clients and am so glad they have come into my life!

Last week I met up with the Z family for the session we’ve been planning since April.  I LOVE when clients plan ahead and schedule early!    It really does make scheduling so much easier and less hectic!

Daddy is the prince with his 5 princesses and you can see what a loving and happy family they are.  I so enjoyed my time with them and it doesn’t hurt that they are all such pretty people to photograph.     Please check out Sarah’s custom outfit and dresses business for little girls here:  Oh Zilly Me! I recently had the privaledge of going to the “D” family home to do photos of G & M.  Such a fun session!  The kids did SO good, and Mr. D even introduced me to an awesome new phot spot   I am just thrilled with the way this session turned out…way too many favorites to choose from, so this is a nice big share!

Just a quick note:  October is almost completely booked up.  If you would like photos done for holidays, I do reccomend scheduling quickly.  I will not be booking sessions between December 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011 except for maternity and newborns/baby planners due to the holidays.  If you have won or purchased a session this year, you have until November 30 to complete the session.  Sessions won/purchased of this year will not be honored after the new year. Oh well hello hello.  Yes, I am still here.  I am way behind on my blogging too, so I hope to get all caught up here in the next week or so.  YAY!  Life has been good to us and I have been enjoying my kiddos and my husband while I can….although I must admit…last week I was not enjoying it so much.  J was gone on business all week long to Houston and Ava was on spring break, which made for a strung out mama.  But he came home on Friday, took me away to a wedding (someone else’s, not ours, hehe) on Saturday night child-free and we had an awesome time.  So I am refreshed.  For this week, HA!

Tom and Kristy brought Addie and Kara in 2 weeks ago for their birthday pictures.  I LOVE to photograph these girls….they are such good girls, full of smiles and have gorgeous eyes.  Happy Birthday A and K!!!

A few weeks ago Ava and I had the chance to work with Lisa, owner and creator of My Sweetpea and Company.  I was so excited when she contacted us because we just love her bows and hats!  She produces some VERY good quality stuff, and Ava was THRILLED to model Lisa’s new product—the bottlecap necklace!
